Semi-Finals Game 3: Honka - PeKa 68-43

Honka cruised past PeKa to cut the deficit in the series. The game without a history. Tapiolan Honka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Peli-Karhut to just 6 points in first and third quarters. Tapiolan Honka held Peli-Karhut to an opponent 19.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 31.4 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Tapiolan Honka outrebounded Peli-Karhut 48-37 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 23 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. The former international swingman Heta Korpivaara (185-84, college: Seton Hall) helped adding 15 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Akilah Sims (178-94, college: IUPUI, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Megan Mullings (185-92, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: Octagon Europe) scored 4 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
