Semi-Finals Game 1: Hoybraten - Gimle Pride 44-55

Gimle Pride defeated Hoybraten and reached the title clash. The game was mostly controlled by Gimle Pride. Hoybraten was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gimle Pride forced 28 Hoybraten turnovers. Strangely Hoybraten outrebounded Gimle Pride 48-29 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Karoline Falch-Monsen (169-98) who helped to win the game recording 12 points. Spanish guard Angela Escobar (168-91) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Tina Nesse (183-84) answered with 6 points and 13 rebounds and forward Sigrid Davidsen (185-95) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Hoybraten. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
