Second Stage Round 15: Arsenal - Cheb.Yastreby 80-82

A very close game took place in Tula between Cheb.Yastreby and Arsenal. Fourth ranked Cheb.Yastreby (17-10) got a very close victory on the road over 4th placed Arsenal (13-16). Cheb.Yastreby managed to escape with a 2-point win 82-80 in the game for the fourth place. The best player for the winners was power forward Sergey Zhulkov (203-95) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Kirill Salmin (187-95) chipped in 14 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Roman Shapovalov (200-87) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and forward Dmitriy Rytenko (199-89) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five Arsenal players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cheb.Yastreby have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 17-10 record which they share with defeated Arsenal. Loser Arsenal keeps the fourth position with 16 games lost. Cheb.Yastreby will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Arsenal will play again against Cheb.Yastreby (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
