Finals Game 3: Bisons Loimaa - HNMKY U23 84-80

Bisons Loimaa held off HNMKY U23 to gain 2-1 lead in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-17. But HNMKY U23 won second period 22-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for guard Sebastian Booker (190-93) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Josh Caldwell (203, college: William Penn, agency: SDJ Sports) accounted for 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Caldwell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Loimaan Korikonkarit players scored in double figures. Guard Tuure Takala (185-93) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Sami Tahvanainen (192-98) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for HNMKY U23 in the defeat. HNMKY U23's coach Juuso Milen tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
