Finals Game 3: Maccabi Ashdod - Elitzur Ramla 93-76

Maccabi Ashdod stormed past Elitzur Ramla to capture the fifth straight D1 title. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ashdod. Elitzur Ramla managed to win third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ashdod dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Ramla's 40. They outrebounded Elitzur Ramla 39-25 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Maccabi Ashdod looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas) who had a triple-double by scoring 27 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. American swingman Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: Connecticut) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. Maccabi Ashdod's coach Adan Inbar used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Kenyan-Canadian power forward Adut Bulgak (193-92, college: Florida St., agency: Ron Sport) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Alexis Jones (175-94, college: Baylor) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively.
