Semi-Finals Game 3: Haukar - Skallagrimur 77-63

Haukar punched their Finals tickets as they rallied past Skallagrimur at home. Skallagrimur was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Haukar made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Haukar outrebounded Skallagrimur 59-39 including a 47-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Skallagrimur was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international swingman Helena Sverrisdottir (184-88, college: TCU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 19 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Whitney Frazier (180-92, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Two Points) accounted for 31 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Haukar's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Carmen Tyson-Thomas (180-91, college: Syracuse, agency: Two Points) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the former international power forward Sigrun Amundadottir (181-88) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Skallagrimur in the defeat.
