Helsinki upset Kouvot to even the series at 1-1. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kouvot won third quarter 22-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Helsinki Seagulls made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Mike Caffey (183-93, college: Long Beach St.) who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international Antti Kanervo (192-89, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line).
