Semi-Finals Game 3: IR - Tindastoll 69-84

Tindastoll cruised past IR on the road to open 2-1 lead in the series. It looked good early as IR took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tindastoll had a 18-11 second period charge getting the lead and IR was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-84. Tindastoll forced 19 IR turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. It was a good game for American forward Antonio Hester (198-90, college: Mobile, AL) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. International point guard Sigtryggur-Arnar Bjornsson (180-93) contributed with 24 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Hester is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Danero Thomas (200-86, college: Murray St.) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Ryan Taylor (196-92, college: Marshall) added 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for IR. IR's coach Borche Ilievski rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
