Semi-Finals Game 3: Haukar - KR 83-84

KR snatched a narrow road win over Haukar to spur ahead in the series. 24 personal fouls committed by Haukar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international forward Kristofer Acox (198-93, college: Furman) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Kendall Pollard (198-95, college: Dayton) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. KR's coach Finnur Stefansson used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Emil Barja (192-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Paul Jones (198-89, college: W.Washington) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five KR and four Haukar players scored in double figures.
