PeKa stormed past Honka on the road to seal their championship series berth. The game without a history. Peli-Karhut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American forward Akilah Sims (178-94, college: IUPUI, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and her fellow American import guard Daisha Simmons (178-91, college: Seton Hall, agency: Gamble Sports Management) accounted for 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. American swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international swingman Heta Korpivaara (185-84, college: Seton Hall) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Tapiolan Honka in the defeat. Tapiolan Honka's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
