Regular Season Round 25: IK Eos - Malbas 99-68

The game between eighth ranked IK Eos (7-18) and 9th ranked Malbas (5-18) in Lund on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. IK Eos outscored guests from Malmo 99-68. The game without a history. IK Eos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 23 Malbas turnovers. IK Eos looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Malbas' players. Guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) nailed 27 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Tahe Mahmoud (-0) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five IK Eos players scored in double figures. IK Eos' coach Jovan Zdravevski felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Stefan Alavuk (201-98) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Gustav Claesson (197-97) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Malbas in the defeat. IK Eos maintains eighth place with 7-18 record. Malbas lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 18 games lost. IK Eos will meet at home higher ranked Trelleborg (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Malbas will play against LF Future and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
