Rather expected game when 8th ranked Lorient (15-16) lost on the road to sixth ranked Vendee Challans (17-14) 92-86 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for swingman Dominique Gentil (197-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Mali point guard Ibrahim Saounera (179-87) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Lithuanian Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) answered with 23 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American forward Jared Newson (196-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Inception Sports) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lorient.
