There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Mainz (9-18) outscored at home higher ranked Fellbach (13-14) 105-86 on Sunday. Mainz looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Fellbach's players. Naturalized American point guard Anish Sharda (188-82, college: St.Mary's, KS) fired 32 points and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Kewan Beebe (183, college: Geneseo St.) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Four Mainz players scored in double figures. Naturalized Polish point guard David Michalczyk (180-89) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists and American center Scooter Gillette (206-90, college: Fair Dickinson) added 25 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Despite that victory Mainz went down to twelfth position (South-West) due to points difference. Loser Fellbach keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost.
