A very interesting game took place in Balikesir. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 11th ranked Akhisar Bld (15-18) to seventh ranked Bandirma Kir. (18-15) 74-71 on Tuesday evening. Bandirma Kir. outrebounded Akhisar Bld 48-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Akhisar Bld helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Point guard Ismail Cem Ulusoy (183-96, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Bandirma Kir.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Bosnian power forward Kenan Bajramovic (206-81) answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Akhisar Bld. Bandirma Kir. maintains seventh place with 18-15 record. Akhisar Bld lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Bandirma Kir.'s next round opponent will be league's second-placed Bursaspor on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
