Regular Season Round 7: Bameso - El Million 97-100

A very interesting game took place in . It ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placed Bameso (1-7) to third ranked El Million (4-4) 100-97 on Wednesday evening. El Million outrebounded Bameso 52-38 including 18 on the offensive glass. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Bameso helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for forward Juan Guerrero (201-93, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks. American swingman Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit Mercy) accounted for 32 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. American power forward Dominique Keller (205-88, college: Illinois) came up with 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Anthony McDonald (185-92, college: N.C.Central) added 21 points respectively for Bameso in the defeat. Five Bameso players scored in double figures. Bameso's coach Freddy Sanchez tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. El Million moved-up to second place in Group A. Bameso lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. El Million will have a break next round. Bameso will play against the league's leader Rafael Barias (#1) and hope to win that game.
