First ranked Rafael Barias (6-3) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 3rd ranked Huellas Del Siglo (3-5) 81-79 on Friday evening. Rafael Barias outrebounded Huellas Del Siglo 51-36 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American center Augustine Okosun (210-86, college: Keiser) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 20 rebounds and 5 blocks and American Trey Gilder (206-85, college: Northwestern St.) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Guard Luis Flores (188-81, college: Manhattan, agency: 011 Sports) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and naturalized American guard Herbert Graham (196-93, college: Armstr.Atlantic) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rafael Barias maintains first position in Group A with 6-3 record. Huellas Del Siglo at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Rafael Barias will play against league's second-placed El Million in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
