Las Animas have been crowned Liga Nacional champions. They overcame Los Leones at home court to win in the title series 4-1. The game without a history. Las Animas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St., agency: HMS) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) contributed with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Argentinian forward Lisandro Rasio (198-90, agency: Pro Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Darnell Dodson (201-89, college: S.Mississippi) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Los Leones. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures.
