Semi-Finals Game 1: Homenetmen - Sagesse 121-79

Homenetmen cruised past Sagesse for 1-0 lead. Homenetmen dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Sagesse's 42. Homenetmen forced 19 Sagesse turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Sam Young (198-85, college: Pittsburgh) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) contributed with 21 points and 8 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) answered with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and international center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) added 19 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Sagesse. Five Homenetmen and four Sagesse players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
