Salon Vilpas upset Helsinki Seagulls on the road to open 2-0 lead in the series. The guests were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win overtime period 14-5. Salon Vilpas made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Salon Vilpas had a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Helsinki Seagulls was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
