Salon Vilpas upset Helsinki Seagulls on the road to open 2-0 lead in the series. The guests were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win overtime period 14-5. Salon Vilpas made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Salon Vilpas had a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Helsinki Seagulls was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Aaron Jones (206-93, college: Mississippi) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds.
