TBL top team - Turk Telekom (29-4) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked TED Kolejliler (9-24) in Ankara 117-112. Turk Telekom forced 20 TED Kolejliler turnovers. Strangely TED Kolejliler outrebounded Turk Telekom 44-25 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by TED Kolejliler helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard TJ Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Ender Arslan (190-83) chipped in 18 points and 11 assists. The best for the losing side was American point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 assists and swingman Mert Gizir (193-94) scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. TED Kolejliler's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Turk Telekom maintains first place with 29-4 record. TED Kolejliler at the other side dropped to the seventeenth position with 24 games lost. Turk Telekom are looking forward to face Istanbulspor (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TED Kolejliler will play against Antalyaspor (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
