Inter Bratislava outgunned Kosice to stay alive in the semifinal clash. Inter Bratislava outrebounded Kosice 37-18 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Kosice's players. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Jermont Horton (198-84, college: Rutgers-Newark) chipped in 16 points. American point guard Rahmon Fletcher (177-88, college: Green Bay) produced 25 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the former international Richard Korner (201-90, agency: 011 Sports) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
