Waregem topped Gistel Oostende to force the decider. Waregem brought some defensive toughness making 18 blocks. Swingman Brecht Guillemyn (192-87) scored 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Bart Willy Samaey (199-87) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Power forward Tim Lambrecht (210-98, agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and center Servaas Buysschaert (204-99, agency: Court Side) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
