Date: April 22, 2018
Tindastoll thumped KR on the road to level the Finals. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-70. Tindastoll made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 KR turnovers and outrebounded them 45-27 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tindastoll looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by KR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international guard Petur Birgisson (185-96) who scored 26 points and 9 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!). Swingman Helgi Viggosson (189-83) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Five Tindastoll players scored in double figures. Swingman Darri Hilmarsson (190-87) produced 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
