Regular Season Round 32: Lorient - Saint-Quentin 81-74

The most important game in the last round took place in Lorient between third ranked Saint-Quentin (23-9) and ninth ranked Lorient (16-16) on Sunday night. Saint-Quentin was defeated by Lorient in a tough game on the road 74-81. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Saint-Quentin. Lorient looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Jared Newson (196-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Inception Sports) who added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Lorient players scored in double figures. American guard BA Walker (184-84, college: VCU, agency: Inception Sports) responded with 28 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Desmond Quincy-Jones (201-85, college: Pace) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Lorient moved-up to eighth place. Saint-Quentin at the other side keeps the third position with nine games lost. Lorient are looking forward to face ALS Basket (#12) in Andrezieux in the next round. Saint-Quentin will play at home against Aubenas (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
