An interesting game for Mauricio Baez (8-1) which played road game in against 4th ranked Los Prados (1-8). First ranked Mauricio Baez managed to get a 12-point victory 87-75. Mauricio Baez outrebounded Los Prados 48-29 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) who scored that evening 24 points and 7 rebounds and Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) supported him with 18 points. Even 20 points and 5 assists by American point guard Miguel Paul (185-90, college: E.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Los Prados. Elkin Ramos added 21 points for the hosts. Four Los Prados players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mauricio Baez have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 8-1 record. Los Prados lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Mauricio Baez will meet at home league's second-placed San Carlos in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
