Rather expected game when 8th ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (3-9) lost on the road to sixth ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (7-5) 105-95. Rayos de Hermosillo outrebounded Pioneros Los Mochis 37-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Five Rayos de Hermosillo and four Pioneros Los Mochis players scored in double figures. Rayos de Hermosillo moved-up to fifth place. Pioneros Los Mochis at the other side keep the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Mazatlan. Rayos de Hermosillo will play against Lobos UAD Mazatlan (#9) on the road in the next round. Pioneros Los Mochis will play against Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
