Mono Vampire stole a narrow road win over Alab Pilipinas to even the championship series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Alab Pilipinas won third quarter 28-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mono Vampire made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Alab Pilipinas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-91) had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 20 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Puerto Rican forward Renaldo Balkman (203-84, college: S.Carolina) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Filipino guard Bobby-Ray Parks (193-93, college: High School) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Mono Vampire and four Alab Pilipinas players scored in double figures.
