Very expected game when 7th ranked Woodville Warriors (1-6) were crushed on the road by second ranked West Adelaide Bearcats (6-1) 99-78 on Wednesday. West Adelaide Bearcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tobias Dowdell (201-90, college: Alders.-Broad.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and the other American import guard James Legan (190-87, college: E.Carolina, agency: Court Side) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four West Adelaide Bearcats players scored in double figures. American swingman Everett Osborne (193, college: UTRGV) responded with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard J Peters scored 6 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. West Adelaide Bearcats maintains second position in League with 6-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Joondalup Wolves. Loser Woodville Warriors dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
