Angers eased past Reims on the road to sweep the semifinal series. Angers outrebounded Reims 41-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Angers players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Naturalized DR Congolese forward Lorraine Lokoka (184-89, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Soana Lucet (185-87, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 20 points by Laetitia Guapo (180-95) did not help to save the game for Reims. Montenegrin center Natasa Popovic (192-82) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts.
