Avenida held off Girona to take 1-0 lead in LFB Finals. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Argon Uni Girona won third quarter 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Perfumerias Avenida looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin-American forward Angelica Robinson (197-87, college: Georgia, agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds. American-FYR Macedonian Chrissy Givens (180-85, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: ProDep Management) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Maria Conde (187-97, college: Florida St.) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds and French point guard Magali Mendy (178-90, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Argon Uni Girona.
