Finals Game 1: Niko-Basket - Rivne 80-73

Rivne snatched a road win over Niko-Basket in the opener. Rivne-OSHVSM was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Rivne-OSHVSM 45-27 including 19 on the offensive glass. Point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (182-98) nailed 26 points and 5 assists for the winning side and swingman Maksym Ozhegov (190-90) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Viktor Gerasymchuk (201-81) came up with 18 points and 7 assists and swingman Nazar Kisilchuk (194-97) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Rivne-OSHVSM in the defeat. Four Rivne-OSHVSM players scored in double figures. Rivne-OSHVSM's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
