Semi-Finals Game 3: Homenetmen - Sagesse 119-65

Homenetmen beat Sagesse to sweep the semifinal series. Homenetmen dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Sagesse's 44. Homenetmen forced 22 Sagesse turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Sagesse's players. It was a good game for forward Hayk Gyokchyan (203-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists for the winners. Homenetmen's coach Joe Nebhan felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Raymond Dagher (196-86) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sagesse. Five Homenetmen and four Sagesse players scored in double figures.
