Quarter-Finals Round 4: TLU/Kalev - Rapla 64-93

Rapla stormed past TLU/Kalev in Tallinn to force the decider. The game was mostly controlled by Rapla. TLU/Kalev was better in fourth quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rapla dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to TLU/Kalev's 32. They outrebounded TLU/Kalev 43-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Rapla players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Dominique Hawkins (183-94, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import guard Nolan Cressler (195-94, college: Vanderbilt, agency: 3Eye) contributed with 24 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Rapla players scored in double figures. Rapla's coach Aivar Kuusmaa felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for TLU/Kalev.
