Regular Season Round 32: Easo - La Fecha 78-74

There was no surprise in San Sebastian where 10th ranked La Fecha (13-17) was defeated by fourth ranked Easo (21-9) 78-74 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Easo outrebounded La Fecha 41-23 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Xabier Beraza (195-99) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Asier Azpeitia (192-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Four Easo players scored in double figures. Guard Millan Lopez (185-94) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jorge Martinez (181-96) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. La Fecha's coach Roberto Gonzalez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Easo moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Cantbasket. La Fecha lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.
