Finals Game 5: Fubon Braves - Pauian 73-69

Fubon Braves rallied past Pauian to narrow the deficit in the championship series. Fubon Braves started the game with a very strong first quarter 19-9. But Pauian won second period 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Pauian's 28. Fubon Braves forced 20 Pauian turnovers. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) answered with 7 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Douglas Creighton (196-85, college: Madonna) added 19 points in the effort for Pauian. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
