Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Dragon Force (20-8) won against 12th ranked Beira Mar (11-17) in Aveiro 67-61 on Saturday. Forward Agenor Rolo (193-95) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Cape Verdean center Kevin-Clay Gomes (209-95) supported him with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Dragon Force's coach Joao Perdo Goncalves used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 13 points and 8 rebounds by guard Goncalo Catarino (173-94) did not help to save the game for Beira Mar. Guard Tiago Nazario (183-99) added 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Dragon Force maintains ninth position in Places 9-16 with 20-8 record. Newly promoted Beira Mar dropped to the thirteenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Academico FC.
