Regular Season Round 33: ALS Basket - Lorient 80-69

We should mention about the upset which took place in Andrezieux, where higher ranked Lorient (16-17) lost to twelfth ranked ALS Basket (15-18) in a road game 69-80. ALS Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American point guard Brandon Clark (183-93, college: Santa Clara) nailed 10 points and 8 assists for the winning side and Bosnian power forward Nemanja Kovanusic (204-93) accounted for 17 points. Lithuanian Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Eliot Maraux (184-96) added 12 points respectively for Lorient in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lorient's coach Philippe Maucourant tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. ALS Basket maintains twelfth place with 15-18 record. Lorient at the other side keeps the eighth position with 17 games lost. ALS Basket's next round opponent will be Aubenas (#14) on the road.
