Quarter-Finals Round 5: Rapla - TLU/Kalev 90-66

Rapla rallied past TLU/Kalev to secure the semifinal birth. The game was mostly controlled by Rapla. TLU/Kalev managed to win third quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TLU/Kalev 41-27 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rapla looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by TLU/Kalev's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Nolan Cressler (195-94, college: Vanderbilt, agency: 3Eye) who scored 31 points. His fellow American import point guard Dominique Hawkins (183-94, college: Kentucky) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Rapla's coach Aivar Kuusmaa felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests.
