Regular Season Round 27: Ironi Nahariya - Bnei Hertzeliya 83-82

A very interesting game took place in Nahariya. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Bnei Hasharon (10-17) to eleventh ranked Ironi Nahariya (10-17) 83-82 in the fight for the ninth place. The hosts were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 25-20 run, which allowed them to win the game. Ironi Nahariya forced 19 Bnei Hasharon turnovers. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Anthony Barber (188-94, college: N.Carolina St.) who scored 23 points. Tyrone Nash (203-88, college: Notre Dame) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jeff Adrien (201-86, college: Connecticut) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and forward Dominique Archie (201-87, college: S.Carolina) added 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Ironi Nahariya moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Maccabi Rishon and Bnei Hertzeliya. Ironi Nahariya's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Maccabi Haifa (#12) on the road.
