No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (17-14) beat at home 10th ranked Levallois (15-16) 79-66 on Monday. The game without a history. Limoges CSP Elite led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Limoges CSP Elite forced 19 Levallois turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Dru Joyce (182-85, college: Akron) accounted for 14 points and 5 assists for the winning side. American swingman Jaron Johnson (198-92, college: Louisiana Tech) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Travis Leslie (193-90, college: Georgia, agency: 3Eye) added 21 points respectively for Levallois in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nanterre. Loser Levallois keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will meet at home higher ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Levallois will play against Chalon/Saor (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
