Second Stage Round 7: Atomeromu - Kaposvari 82-73

The game between third ranked Kaposvari (15-17) and fourth ranked Atomeromu (16-16) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Kaposvari was defeated by Atomeromu in a tough game in Paks 73-82. Kaposvari trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 24-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 73-82 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jabarie Hinds (180-92, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists. International power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Atomeromu's coach Teo Cizmic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Serbian center Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) added 18 points in the effort for Kaposvari. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu moved-up to third place in Division. Kaposvari at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 17 games lost. Atomeromu are looking forward to face league's leader PVSK-Veolia in Pecs in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kaposvari will play on the road against the league's second-placed ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
