Mauricio Baez topped El Million to gain 2-0 lead in the series. Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Mauricio Baez players scored in double figures. American swingman Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit Mercy) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and forward Juan Guerrero (201-93, agency: Basket Management Solutions) added 16 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for El Million. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
