Novipiu Casale looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Jamarr Sanders (193-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) notched 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-89) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Novipiu Casale players scored in double figures. Novipiu Casale's coach Marco Ramondino felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-93, agency: Players Group) did not help to save the game for Aurora Jesi.
