Quarter-Finals Round 3: MKS DG - Polski Cukier 69-84

Polski Cukier overcame MKS DG on the road to secure the semifinal stage berth. Twarde Pierniki shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was international swingman Karol Gruszecki (193-89, college: Texas Arlington) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: 3Eye) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward DJ Shelton (208-91, college: Washington St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import swingman Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
