Kralovosti sokoli fired past Vysocina on the road in the opener. Kralovsti sokoli looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Vysocina helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Charlie Marquardt (190-95, college: Molloy) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Jan Jiricek (203-90) contributed with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Kralovsti sokoli players scored in double figures. Point guard Martin Straznicky (180-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and point guard Lukas Kanturek (183-98) added 19 points in the effort for Vysocina. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
