Very predictable result when eighth ranked Lorient (17-17) rolled over at home 17th ranked GET Vosges (10-24) 102-76 on Saturday. Lorient shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by GET Vosges' players. It was a very good performance for American forward Jared Newson (196-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 28 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Mathieu Bigote (190-84) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Lorient players scored in double figures. Lorient's coach Philippe Maucourant felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Alexis Thomas (196-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds and American forward Rashid Gaston (206-94, college: Norfolk St., agency: Inception Sports) added 24 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for GET Vosges.
