Second Stage Round 10: MZT Skopje - Ohrid AV 94-67

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Ohrid AV (11-21) was crushed on the road by second ranked MZT Skopje (24-7) 94-67 on Saturday. MZT Skopje dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ohrid AV's 30. They outrebounded Ohrid AV 49-35 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. MZT Skopje looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Serbian guard Stefan Sinovec (195-88, agency: BeoBasket) scored 6 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian Andrija Bojic (207-93, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Serbian Stevan Gligorijevic (196-98) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Kosovan-Bosnian guard Mirza Ahmetbasic (193-87, college: Abil.Christian) scored 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second position in Liga with 24-7 record having five points less than leader Rabotnicki. Loser Ohrid AV keeps the sixth place with 21 games lost.
