Salon Vilpas grabbed 1-0 lead in the Finals following home win. The game was mostly controlled by Salon Vilpas. Kauhajoki was better in third quarter 27-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Aaron Jones (206-93, college: Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Javontae Hawkins (196-93, college: Fordham, agency: Two Points) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Salon Vilpas players scored in double figures. Bosnian guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-88) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale, agency: Octagon Europe) added 18 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Kauhajoki.
