Mgzavrebi upset Cactus on the road to grab the lead. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Mgzavrebi's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-13 extending their advantage to 16 points. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Mgzavrebi had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cactus Tbilisi was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. International Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Mgzavrebi players scored in double figures. American guard Deondre Parks (185-92, college: S.Dakota St.) answered with 24 points and the other American import guard Chris Johnson (190-91, college: St.Catharine) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Cactus Tbilisi.
