Batumi cruised past Rustavi to force decider. The game without a history. Batumi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 24. Serbian center Stefan Andrejevic (206-93) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Eric Childress (183-94, college: UCSB) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Batumi players scored in double figures. American point guard Adam Blazek (185-92, college: Gannon) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import forward Tyrell Nelson (201, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
